Origami 23 - Samurai Haoh

And here it is, ladies and gentlemen... the reason I got into Shinkenger in the first place. The Samurai Haoh ("Samurai Military King") is a combination of the eleven Origami, so big and heavily-armed that it needs the Ushi's gissha just to move.

I saw the debut of this thing on YouTube back in November, and my jaw hit the goddamn floor. I honestly haven't been as impressed by a Power Rangers/Super Sentai mecha since I first saw the original Ultrazord way back in 1993.

Sadly, Shinkenger came to an end last week in Japan after 49 episodes. This weekend, Tensou Sentai Goseiger will premiere, bringing with it a new team, new stories, and new mecha... but to be frank, I'm extremely skeptical. They're going to have to go a long way to beat the Samurai Haoh in my book.
